Water District 6 & 7 Update

4^TH FILTER

The lack of capacity of the Village Water Treatment plant has handicapped the acceptance of Water District 6 in the past. However the immanent addition of a 4^th filter and reconfiguration of the plant will add nearly 50% additional capacity.

Water DISTRICT #6

Water District #6 has been expanded so as to include homes located in the Town but currently being supplied by the Village at a 50% up charge. While these new properties will increase the number of homes in the district, they will decrease the average construction costs on a per household basis. Therefore increasing the districts rating with financial institutions.

WATER DISTRICT #7

Although we have tried to reconfigure Water District 7, so as to reduce overall costs, so far we have not been successful. With the addition of the 4^th filter, we feel it is time to try again. Therefore we would appreciate interested homeowners in the district to submit their names and assist us with time and ideas on how to create a viable water district.
