The Cape Vincent Town Board will hold a special meeting on March 3, 2022 at 6:30pm in the Recreation Park Building, 602 S. James St.  The purpose of the meeting is to interview, discuss and make a decision on the town attorney.

Notice of Public Hearing

The Town of Cape Vincent Planning Board will hold a Public Hearing on Wednesday, March 24, 2021, at 7 p.m. at Recreation Park on So. James Street, Cape Vincent, to consider the application of Keith and Tracy Aubertine.

The applicant is requesting approval for a minor subdivision at 36165 Pelo Road, Cape Vincent NY 13618 (tax map # 30.00-1-21.1). The applicant is proposing to divide a 108.6-acre lot into 2 lots of 2.0-acres and 106.6-acres.

Persons wishing to appear at such hearing may do so in person, or by attorney, or by other representation.

The Cape Vincent Town Board will hold its regular monthly meetings on the Third Thursday of each month at 6:30pm in the Recreation Park Building 602 S. James Street, Cape Vincent.

The Cape Vincent Town Board will hold work sessions on the First Thursday of each month at 6pm in the Recreation Park Building, 602 S James Street, Cape Vincent.

The Town Board of the Town of Cape Vincent has scheduled a special meeting for Tuesday October 8, 2019 at 8am. The purpose of the meeting is to pass a resolution to hold a public hearing to allow the board to override the 2% Tax Cap limit and any other business that may come before the board. The budget work session will immediately follow.

The Cape Vincent Town Board work session is scheduled at 5pm on May 3, instead of the regularly scheduled 6pm start time.

The Town Board will hold a special meeting on Wednesday July 5, 2017 at 8:30am in the Town Office Building 1964 NYS Rt 12E.  The purpose of the meeting is to authorize the Supervisor to sign a contract with an architectural firm to complete a grant application for work to be done at Tibbets Point.

The Town of Cape Vincent is looking for interested persons wishing to serve a two year term as an Alternate member of the Zoning Board of Appeals.  Letters of interest should be submitted to the Town Clerk either by mail, PO Box 915, Cape Vincent, NY 13618 or in person, 1964 NYS Rte 12E, no later than 12 noon on Friday March 11, 2016.

The Town Board of the Town of Cape Vincent is seeking interested persons who wish to serve as a member of the Board of Assessment Review. This is a three year term. Interested persons should submit a letter of interest to the Town Clerk, either by mail, PO Box 915, Cape Vincent, NY 13618 or in person, 1964 NYS Rt 12E, Cape Vincent, by 12noon on Thursday Sept. 17, 2015.

The Town Board has scheduled a special meeting at 4:30pm on Thursday, May 21 at Recreation Park for the purpose of interviewing candidates to fill the vacancy on the Town Board.

The Town Board is now accepting letters of interest from anyone wishing to serve on the Local Development Committee. This will be a three year term. Interested persons should drop off their letters of interest to the Town Clerks office by Tuesday Nov. 18, 2014.

PUBLIC HEARING NOTICE

PLEASE TAKE NOTICE that the Town Board of the Town of Cape Vincent has scheduled a public hearing with a regular Board Meeting to immediately follow, on October 16 at 6:00pm at the Recreation Park Building located on James Street, Cape Vincent, New York 13618 to consider Local Law #3 of 2014. The purpose of the Hearing is to allow the Town Board to override the tax cap limit on the amount of real property taxes that may be levied by the Town of Cape Vincent pursuant to General Municipal Law §3-C. All persons wishing to be heard on this issue should be present at the date time and place aforestated or have submitted written comments in advance. Any persons requiring special accommodations to attend the meeting and participate should notify the Town Clerk at least three (3) business days prior to the date and time of the public hearing.
