Water Department

The Town of Cape Vincent Water Department is run by Water Superintendent Keith Brass. The water used by the Residents is pumped from the Village filtration plant to the water tower and then distributed to the residents.

The water department operates seven days a week and they are responsible for water turn ons and offs, installation of new water meters, replace old water meters with new ones, inspect water mains, install new water mains, flush fire hydrants, maintain valves, and perform water meter readings and final water meter readings for sale of homes. They are also responsible for the pumping station.

If your water bill seems too high don’t first blame the water meter or your department officials. Check for leaks. Stop the leaks.
