TOWN TAX NOTICE
TOWN OF CAPE VINCENT
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that I, Michelle Bouchard, Tax Collector of the Town of Cape Vincent, County of Jefferson, State of New York have received the tax assessment roll for the year 2024, and the warrant for collection of the same. Collector’s Warrant in the amount of $3,811,066.18.
That I will collect taxes starting January 2, 2024, at the Town Clerk’s Office, l964 NYS Rte. 12E, Cape Vincent, New York between the hours of 9:00 a.m. – 3:00 p.m. Monday, Wednesday and Thursday, except holidays and week-ends.
When paying the total amount no partial payment will be accepted. Checks for incorrect dollar amounts will be returned. Please return the entire bill when paying by mail if receipt is required. Payments made via US Postal Service bearing an official US Postal Service cancellation date is deemed to be the date, not the date received by the collector. If paying total amount and have not done so by March 1, 2024 a delinquent bill will be sent to you.
Any person or corporation paying total amount of taxes within the thirty days will not be charged fees of collection. One percent will be added during the month of February, and two percent will be charged until the tax roll is returned to the County Treasurer. Installment payment of taxes will be charged an initial service fee of three percent of total tax bill. No third party checks will be acceptable, and please make check payable to Michelle Bouchard, Tax Collector.

CV Local Development Committee Meetings
The Cape Vincent Local Development Committee will hold its monthly meetings on the second Thursday of each month at 5:30pm in the Recreation Park Building, 602 S. James St. Cape Vincent.

As of August 1, 2023, all cardboard – thin and corrugated – will be recycled together.

The Town of Cape Vincent is looking for persons interested in serving as a member of the Zoning Board of Appeals and the Planning Board. Training is mandatory.
